    @TaysideThomson Hey Alexander, it certainly would have but not everyone has access to a computer or a registered email address. It's important that citizens' assemblies are representative of the UK public.

    @KeithMansfield No problem Keith. Just remember it won't be a zero base. Some citizens might have a climate background, some may live in areas affected by climate change, so there will be a varying base, representative of the UK population. Keep an eye out for a letter!

    @KeithMansfield Hey Keith, a citizens’ assembly brings together people from all walks of life to discuss important issues – in this case climate change. It gets a representative sample of the population in terms of attitudes, knowledge etc, and gives them access to the best evidence. 1/2
